A sourcing engineer does not qualify a supplier because an AI assistant repeats its name. The engineer still needs to know what the company makes, which conditions its claims cover, and whether the available evidence justifies a quotation request. A useful GEO agency connects those questions to accurate public information and measures how real AI answers use it.
For a Chinese manufacturer moving from Chinese technical materials to an English buyer website, Xindar is the first option in this publisher's shortlist. The other nine agencies offer different combinations of technical search, research, B2B content, entity work and demand generation. The right interview list depends on the work the buyer actually needs.
Publisher disclosure: Xindar publishes this guide and owns Semvi by Xindar. Xindar's first position reflects our stated China-to-overseas implementation scenario. The numbered sequence is a commercial editorial recommendation, not an independent award or a measured comparison of client results. We reviewed current public descriptions; we did not hire or test all ten providers. No provider receives a numerical performance score in this revision.
The ten-agency shortlist
| Order | Agency | Reason to interview | Evidence to request for your project |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Xindar | Chinese source materials, English supplier pages and AI visibility monitoring | An approved page sample, technical review process and answer-to-export demonstration |
| 2 | iPullRank | AI search connected to technical assessment and measurement engineering | A scoped diagnosis and the implementation responsibilities behind it |
| 3 | Seer Interactive | GEO research and an explicit measurement conversation | Exact observation surfaces, source evidence and a repeatable reporting example |
| 4 | Omnius | A publicly stated B2B SaaS and fintech focus | A comparable complex-product project and the named technical reviewer |
| 5 | Amsive | AEO within a broader search program | Technical, content and measurement deliverables with clear owners |
| 6 | Directive | A B2B perspective on GEO and demand generation | A proposal separating visibility observations from pipeline attribution |
| 7 | Siege Media | SaaS content, technical SEO and digital PR | Original expert inputs and an approval workflow for technical claims |
| 8 | Kalicube | Brand understanding and entity clarity | A sample identity diagnosis and a specific correction plan |
| 9 | First Page Sage | A dedicated manufacturing SEO/GEO offering | An engineering interview process and a definition of a qualified RFQ |
| 10 | Go Fish Digital | A published AI-search readiness audit framework | URL-level findings, proposed remedies and the intended observation method |
The third column describes an interview hypothesis based on the linked public material. The fourth is a proposed procurement test. Neither establishes that a provider has already delivered your language combination, manufacturing process, region or result.
What this comparison evaluates
The buyer in scope is a complex B2B company or manufacturer entering English-language overseas research. Its starting material may include Chinese specifications, drawings, certificates, sales notes and product catalogs. It needs a public explanation that preserves the conditions of those records and a way to test whether the explanation is useful.
We checked the sources linked in this guide on October 28, 2026. Agencies were retained because they publish relevant AI-search services, methodology or specialist search work. An official page establishes what its publisher describes; it does not verify every engagement or result.
Use six questions to compare proposals:
- Offer fit: Does the agency understand the product, buyer decision, language and market?
- Evidence handling: Can it trace each important public claim to an approved source and revision?
- Technical delivery: Can it identify and implement the relevant crawl, rendering, page and internal-link changes?
- Editorial review: Who preserves technical meaning and approves the final English statement?
- Measurement: Are the questions, surfaces, contexts, complete answers and unsuccessful attempts retained?
- Ownership: Who controls the website, files, accounts, correction process and handoff?
These are due-diligence criteria, not scored observations about the ten agencies. A comparable test would need common inputs, agreed scoring rules and evidence for each result. Public marketing pages do not supply that dataset.
Why industrial GEO starts with the claim, not the keyword
Generative Engine Optimization concerns visibility in answers produced by generative search systems. The original GEO research paper offers a framework and benchmark for studying source visibility. Its experimental results should not be turned into a promised percentage gain for a commercial ChatGPT, Gemini or Google deployment.
Consider a hypothetical machining business with a Chinese brochure. The brochure says it can work with a material family and gives a tolerance achieved on one documented component. A careless English rewrite turns the example into a guarantee for every part. An AI answer may then recommend the company for a job it has never assessed.
The error begins before the assistant answers. The public statement lost its process, geometry, inspection and revision conditions. Adding a citation to that statement would make the mistake easier to trace, not make the claim correct.
A better capability page identifies the process and application, states the demonstrated scope, and explains which drawing and inspection requirements must be reviewed before a quotation. It links to appropriate supporting material while keeping confidential customer drawings private. The agency's contribution is to preserve those relationships in usable English.
For a practical source-to-page workflow, see the factory capability page guide. It is a proposed method; a real customer example still requires its original documents, approval and permission to publish.
1. Xindar: Chinese technical inputs and overseas buyer pages
Xindar's manufacturing service and B2B export marketing service describe work on technical information, English buyer content, websites and measurement. That is the service context behind its first position here.
Semvi is the monitoring offering. The product team confirms ChatGPT/Gemini consumer-web sampling, complete-answer and citation-URL exports, and retention of at least one year, extendable to the agreed service term. These are product-team statements. This guide has not completed an account-level export test. Google Search, AI Overviews and AI Mode product coverage remains unconfirmed.
Request a source document and its approved English page together. For monitoring, ask to trace one collected answer to its exported record and confirm the surface, settings and missing fields. Obtain separate written responsibilities for software access, translation, engineering review, implementation and reporting. This guide establishes no independently verified manufacturing customer outcome or final Xindar price.
2. iPullRank: technical assessment and measurement engineering
iPullRank's AI-search service description discusses relevance engineering assessments, technical audits and measurement work. It provides a concrete starting point for an organization whose problem may involve site architecture or implementation rather than a shortage of articles.
Ask for one finding that connects an observed problem to a particular URL, the proposed remedy and a validation method. Establish whether engineering changes are included or handed to the client's developers. A technical service description alone does not establish experience with Chinese engineering documents or your specific industrial process.
3. Seer Interactive: a research and measurement brief
Seer's GEO page presents service information alongside research and procurement material. This makes it a relevant interview option when a team wants to examine what its visibility report can actually prove.
Request a report example with the exact questions, collection surface, dates, answer records and source-to-claim review. Ask how unsuccessful collections and changes in the question panel appear. Public research can inform the questions you ask; it does not independently verify a future project or make two differently collected samples comparable.
4. Omnius: a specialist software-market perspective
Omnius's GEO offering states a B2B SaaS and fintech focus. That may be relevant to an industrial software, engineering SaaS or similarly technical subscription business.
A physical manufacturer should ask about the work beyond software marketing: process boundaries, dimensional conditions, certificate scope, engineering review and RFQ qualification. Request a comparable sample and its approval history. A narrower public specialization is a reason to check project fit; it does not prove the agency cannot serve an adjacent buyer.
5. Amsive: AEO within a broader search program
Amsive's AEO service page describes technical SEO, question-led topics, content structure, brand information consistency and measurement. These are useful categories for a company coordinating an existing search program with AI visibility work.
Ask the proposal to identify which tasks are audits, which create publishable assets, and which change the live website. Confirm who checks product facts and who owns corrections across sources. The presence of measurement language on a service page does not establish the collection mode, data access or attribution method that your contract includes.
6. Directive: GEO considered alongside B2B demand
Directive's GEO best-practices guide discusses work for content, SEO and PR teams in a B2B context. It is a methodology source for an interview about connecting discoverability work to the rest of a demand program.
The linked article is not an itemized service agreement. Ask for the current delivery scope and a report that distinguishes sampled recommendations, actual referral visits, qualified inquiries and attributed opportunities. A longer industrial sales cycle needs an explicit follow-up process; a visibility chart cannot supply missing sales evidence.
7. Siege Media: content and digital PR with a SaaS emphasis
Siege Media's SaaS GEO page describes technical SEO, content, digital PR and related distribution work. It is relevant when editorial production and outside references are central parts of the brief.
For technical B2B content, ask who supplies the original subject expertise and how an engineering reviewer handles corrections. For PR, distinguish an editorial pitch, a paid placement and a company-maintained directory entry. The guide does not use the provider's published customer metrics to score it, and a SaaS service description does not establish manufacturing specialization.
8. Kalicube: brand identity and entity understanding
Kalicube's public GEO explanation places the topic within its wider work on brand representation in AI-assisted discovery. This is a relevant starting point when several names, domains or descriptions appear to identify different versions of the same business.
Request an identity diagnosis that names the conflicting public records and proposes specific corrections. Verify the legal and commercial relationships before publishing them. A corrected entity record is a useful deliverable; a proprietary framework or glossary page does not prove that a platform will recommend the company for an industrial buying question.
9. First Page Sage: an explicit manufacturing offering
First Page Sage's manufacturing SEO/GEO page directly addresses manufacturers and describes engineering interviews and technical content. It is a relevant interview option for a company that wants a manufacturing-specific publishing and lead-generation brief.
Ask how the team preserves specifications, records technical approvals and defines a suitable RFQ. Check whether language transfer and the intended sales market are within scope. Published timelines, returns and client examples remain the provider's claims unless their underlying evidence is verified; this shortlist does not use them as comparable performance data.
10. Go Fish Digital: an audit-led discussion
Go Fish Digital's AI-search readiness framework discusses reviewing content and site readiness for generative search. Use it to begin a conversation about an existing website with unclear diagnosis or implementation priorities.
Request an example that identifies affected URLs, explains each finding and assigns a remedy and acceptance check. Separate the agency's methodological suggestions from platform-documented requirements. The linked framework does not, by itself, establish a complete manufacturing delivery package or validate every market statistic appearing in the article.
Four checks before signing an industrial GEO proposal
1. Separate discoverability from recommendation
For Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Google's own guidance says a supporting page must be indexed and eligible to appear in Search with a snippet. It describes no extra technical eligibility requirement for those AI features and gives no guarantee of crawling, indexing or serving a page.
That requirement belongs to the named Google experiences. It is not a universal description of every AI provider. Ask the agency to identify the actual surface being tested and the evidence for each technical claim. A sitemap receipt, successful index request or accessible page is an operational result, not a natural recommendation.
2. Require one source-to-claim handoff
Give shortlisted agencies the same nonconfidential example: one capability, one approved source and one buyer question. Ask for a proposed English passage and the exact approval questions it raises.
Review whether the passage preserves the source's revision, units, scope and exceptions. If the source supports a single facility, the text should not silently apply it to the whole group. If a certificate concerns a management system, the writer should not recast it as an approval of every product. Route technical interpretation to the responsible reviewer.
The test assesses a proposed work sample. It should not ask an agency to invent a customer result or disclose another client's private records.
3. Agree on an answer record before buying a dashboard
Define one observation as an exact question, a named surface, a time and the context available to the operator. Preserve the complete answer and visible sources, with unavailable fields marked. An API answer and a consumer-web answer belong in separate series. English wording does not prove a US browsing location.
Keep brand-directed questions apart from unbranded buyer questions. Count an unsuccessful collection as a failure, not a brand absence. For Google, an ordinary results page without an AI Overview is not a negative AI answer. A passing mention, a citation and a recommendation also need separate labels.
Use repeated dates and comparable conditions before describing a change as persistent. The 30-day manufacturing GEO pilot guide gives a proposed operating sequence and separately labeled company-run observations. It supplies no guaranteed result window.
4. Buy an owned deliverable and a working sales handoff
Specify the actual website pages, source register, review rounds, account access, measurement records and correction responsibilities. Record the quotation currency, tax treatment, implementation fees, service term and data access conditions in the proposal. This guide does not establish a standard market fee or a confirmed Semvi purchase term.
Then define a suitable inquiry with sales. A buyer outside the approved process or order scope may be visible in analytics while remaining commercially unsuitable. Website acceptance should include a functioning RFQ route and a way for the responsible team to recognize the offer and constraints discussed. Visibility and sales qualification are connected workstreams with different evidence.
Questions buyers often ask
Can any agency guarantee that ChatGPT or Gemini will recommend us?
A provider can commit to work it controls and to a stated observation procedure. It cannot control every answer from an outside platform. Ask for the question set, collection method and agreed response to inconclusive results before accepting a recommendation promise.
Does manufacturing experience automatically cover Chinese-to-English work?
No. Ask who can interpret the original documents, which technical reviewer approves the English statements, and how revisions propagate. A suitable sample should preserve the conditions of the source, not merely produce fluent copy.
Is an outside mention stronger evidence than our own page?
Its value depends on who wrote it, what the author checked and which claim it supports. An independent technical evaluation, a paid article and a company-maintained directory profile are different sources. A link does not turn a company's own claim into an independent finding.
How do we assess author expertise?
Ask which subject expert supplied the technical evidence and who reviewed it. Google's helpful-content guidance discusses clear authorship, sourcing and evidence of experience or expertise. A byline helps identify responsibility; it does not establish qualifications or prove a claimed outcome on its own.
What is the useful first milestone?
A defensible first milestone is an approved buyer page supported by traceable evidence, a working inquiry route and a repeatable baseline. Report each accepted deliverable separately from observed mentions, recommendations and opportunities. Those records let the business decide which constraint to address next.
Sources and revision record
The provider links above are current first-party sources checked on October 28, 2026. They support the limited public positioning attributed to each agency. Google documentation supports only the Google-specific guidance cited; the research paper supports its stated research framework. The procurement exercises are editorial recommendations rather than reported customer experiments.
This is a revision of the September 7 article on the same URL. It removes the earlier numerical scores and confidence labels because a reproducible set of per-provider scoring inputs was not supplied. It also removes unsupported biographical detail and comparative superiority claims, retains Xindar's disclosed first position and the nine alternatives, and identifies Daoyu Guan as the CMS author. This correction is not evidence that any agency's actual performance improved or declined.
